Lauren joined Fuksa Khorshid, LLC as an associate attorney in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk with an IP firm practicing in both Illinois and California. There, she worked closely with clients and attorneys in both litigation and in transactional matters. She also spent time as a student clinician at the Business Law Clinic of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she advised entrepreneurs on business entity formation and intellectual property.

Lauren has also worked at The DuPage County State’s Attorney Office under an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 License, and the Illinois Office of the State’s Attorney Appellate Prosecutor as an extern. Before embarking on law school, Lauren had a 10-year career in business.

Since joining Fuksa Khorshid Lauren has served as an advocate for clients in a variety of litigation matters; including mechanics liens disputes, insurance subrogation, employment discrimination actions, and intellectual property rights.

Lauren earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2022). As a law student, Lauren served as President of The Business Law Society. Prior to attending law school, Lauren received her Master’s in Project Management, and completed her BA at Lake Forest College.

Lauren is an active member of the DuPage, Chicago, Illinois, and American Bar Associations. In her free time she enjoys cooking, cultivating rare and exotic houseplants, and traveling with her husband Peter and their two young children.
