Thomasin is an associate attorney at Fuksa Khorshid, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. There she prosecuted business licensees for violations of the Chicago Municipal Code at the Department of Administrative Hearings. In this role Thomasin negotiated plea agreements with offending businesses. During her time at the City, Thomasin gained valuable perspective on the regulatory environment that Chicago businesses must navigate to succeed.

Thomasin received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2012 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2016 from the University of Illinois College of Law. As a law student, Thomasin interned with the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office, representing the State in child neglect and abuse cases. She also participated in the law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic, where she represented victims of domestic abuse. Thomasin also completed two semesters of trial advocacy, including successful completion of the Mirza Trial Academy.

Thomasin is a native of Hinsdale who currently lives in Ukrainian Village. During her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants in Chicago, practicing yoga, and playing with her rescue dog, Pekoe.
