Thomas Carroll

Thomas Carroll is a recent admittee to the Illinois Bar.  Despite his recent admission, Mr. Carroll has worked on a wide variety of matters both transactional and litigation-related.  He has assisted in the drafting of multiple private placement memoranda, creating vivid descriptions of new businesses to entice would-be investors.  He has worked tirelessly with municipal and state bureaucracies to help the firm’s small business clients to keep their enterprises up and running.  Mr. Carroll has also drafted and reviewed numerous contracts and sales agreements.  On the litigation side, Mr. Carroll has handled matters pertaining to mechanics liens, employment, the law of defamation, and contract disputes.  He is currently working on matters before the Cook County Circuit Court, the Illinois Appellate Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the American Arbitration Association.

Thomas is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law (2011), and Marquette University (2000).  Prior to entering law school, he was a Social Worker for seven years.  When he is not working, Thomas can be found spending time with his wife and son, or with his nose in a book.
