Robert Schaul
Robert Schaul is a recent admittee to the Illinois Bar. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schaul worked for his family’s business, where he developed a strong business acumen and gained a deep understanding of the realities that many businesses, especially small businesses, face in this evolving economic climate. During his time with the firm, Mr. Schaul has worked on both transactional and litigation-related matters. Mr. Schaul’s transactional work includes assisting clients with employment law matters, corporate governance matters, secured transactions, debt negotiation and settlement, and negotiating commercial leases. Mr. Schaul’s litigation work includes assisting clients in intellectual property litigation matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as commercial litigation matters before the Circuit Court of Cook County and the City of Chicago Human Relations Commission.
Mr. Schaul received his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law (2011). He received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Political Science from Indiana University (2008). While away from the office, Mr. Schaul enjoys reading about global economics and finance. He can also be found on the golf course or in the hockey rink.
