Lucas M. Fuksa
Lucas Fuksa is a founding partner of Fuksa Khorshid, LLC. Lucas focuses his practice on complex commercial and construction litigation and financial and real estate transactions. He has litigated matters including a $200 Million civil RICO claim, an international investment fraud scheme, and the enforceability of broadcaster’s non-compete provision against his former employer, CBS Radio. He regularly assists some of Chicago’s busiest developers and investors in their acquisitions of commercial property and real estate-backed bank notes, including the purchase of loan documents relating to a Michigan harbor and marina.
Lucas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law. Lucas began his legal career with the firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. In 2006, Lucas and his partner started Fuksa Khorshid, LLC where he now focuses his efforts on catering to the needs of his business and construction clients.
Lucas is the President of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce, the largest chamber of its type in the United States, and President of a political action committee (PAL-PAC) that is aimed at promoting the interests of the Polish-American community. He lives in Park Ridge with his beautiful wife Daniela, his tow daughters, Penelope and Bianca, and two chocolate labs, Emma and Winnie. In his free time, Lucas enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and drinking Scotch.
